STSL Rules

Please note
that the Administrative Board is trying to recover records of STSL
Members' Council meetings from 2004-2008 where by-laws changes
may have been enacted since the 2003 STSL Bylaws documents below.
Until we can recover minutes of those meetings showing that
changes were bylaws changes were proposed and voted on in
accordance with the rules regarding amendments, we're going
to have to move forward with the provisional 2009 rules below.
The only update from the 2003 rules presently recorded is the
change to the A-Meet qualifying times
in Article 300 Section 307.3 adopted February 17, 2009. Other
bylaws changes still to be recorded are a modification of
the rules on grievances to allow the Grievance Committee to
require a fee for submission of a grievance and dismissal of
those determined frivolous, and a modification of the technical
rules to follow current US Swim rules for all events
including backstroke. We hope to have the bylaws completely up
to date this season in preparation for adoption of an improved
set in fall 2009.
